Earlier this week I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall asleep. From nowhere, the biggest, baddest craving for cake pops sprung up on me! I've never even had a cake pop before-- but I wanted one so badly! I am going to make some this weekend and wanted to share some tutorials, tips, and inspiration with you.

Those spools are precious!! I just made cake pops for the first time this week. I'll be posting about them soon :) I got some really good tips on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sugar-Mama/115417788513934
ReplyDeleteMostly just make sure and freeze them between steps! Have fun :)
I have never had a cake pop either, but they are so much fun. There are so many great tutorials out there for them. I especially like the spools of thread. Let us know how it goes this weekend!

ReplyDeleteHi Remy! I made cake pops this weekend by hand-- just crumbling the cake like Bakerella does in her video. It was so easy! And SO delicious! I would love to know if using the maker makes them crack less. We definitely experienced the cracking cake pop :/
DeleteAnd now I want to eat cake pops....lots and lots of cake pops when I should be going to bed and getting my much needed beauty rest! HA HA! I found your blog via your button on Keeping Up with The Cantelmos. Newest follower! SO glad I found you...your blog is delightful and fun. Pop by and say hi if/when you get the chance...I'd love it. Best wishes from a Utah Mama! callmemamaleisha.blogspot.com
